The way in is the A127 to the A130, then up to the A120 and into Stansted, with the M11 the usual final approach at Junction 8, and if traffic favours it, the M25 to the M11 north is the alternative. Since 19 March 2026 Stansted charges £10 to drop off in the Express Set Down area outside Departures for stays up to 15 minutes, and £28 for longer.
