Value Cars was born from Basildon's oldest taxi company, C&M originally based in Laindon and established over 30 years ago. We have tried to maintain a traditional feel to our circuit. You will be greeted by a human voice every time you call. No waiting in queues, talking to computers pushing buttons and wondering if your booking has been taken.
Your call matters and our staff will make you feel valued. Our belief is that every call and every customer is important. We strive to provide value for money without compromising quality of service.
We listen to our customers, welcome suggestions, take criticism seriously and act on feedback. As a result of responding to customers needs we have the facility to take credit card bookings securely and quickly over the phone.
Call back is available on all bookings which means you will know when your car is arriving at your door.
Where we came from
Value Cars started with a handful of experienced drivers who broke away from the impersonal modern computerised cabbying. They took a risk believing in their experience and understanding of the private hire trade. They believed that every customer deserved a quality service at a reasonable price and every driver deserved to earn a decent wage. Value Cars is Basildon's second largest private hire circuit but still only the baby in the town. It is clear that experience counts for a lot. Value Cars' success is a result of hard work and commitment from all its workforce.
